Feel on top of the world climbing Kinder Scout and Mam Tor or the thrill of abseiling, kayaking or canyoning. Create your own adventure to escape the everyday with our partner outdoor activity companies who have something for every one.

For the less active - an open fire, a glass of wine and a bubble bath –  relaxing in this beautiful and luxurious Georgian home will help you feel refreshed and restored.

Darley House is a historic 6 bedroom house renovated to extremely high standards  - ornate ceilings mingle with antique furniture and Farrow and Ball colours. Many people come to celebrate a special occasion or relax with family and friends. We have information about private chefs, hot tub hire and a range of activities to make your stay unforgettable.

Set in an acre of Victorian gardens, near Chatsworth, in the Peak District, UK, sleeps 10 - 14.  Whilst the "Rule of 6" is in place Darley House is ideal for three couples or one household group.

“The special setting of Darley House, its calm Georgian grandeur and enchanted hidden gardens provide a healing peaceful haven for the visitor.

Penelope Baddeley - Derbyshire  Life, March 2015

The house & gardens were immaculate

Mary Newman - JULY 2020

We came to Darley House for a week just as lockdown began to be eased. Lucy was an exceptional host and checked that we were happy with the extensive Covid-19 security measures that she had put into place for us. When we arrived we felt safe and we were very clear on the actions we needed to take to ensure that those who came after us would be safe too.

The house and gardens were immaculate.

The house is ideal for a family gathering and the large lawn was perfect for children and adults to play on. There are lots of seating areas and a wonderful wooded area that our grandchildren loved having as a 'going on a bear hunt' opportunity!
