We are delighted to share that Darley House has been awarded Gold at the Peak District Tourism Awards 2026 in the Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year category.
The awards ceremony, held at Pride Park Stadium in Derby on 18 March 2026, brought together the very best of tourism across the region. With a record number of entries, businesses were judged by industry experts against rigorous criteria including quality, sustainability and economic impact.
We are incredibly grateful to Visit Peak District for their continued support of local businesses and for championing the region as a destination of excellence.
Mayor of the East Midlands, Claire Ward, recognised the contribution of tourism businesses, thanking finalists for their “hard work, creativity and passion that not only attracts visitors from far and wide, but also supports local jobs, businesses and communities.”
Jo Dilley, Managing Director of Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, reflected on the significance of the awards:
“The Tourism Awards are a celebration of the passion, innovation and dedication that drive our visitor economy forward… showcasing the remarkable businesses and experiences that contribute so much to our region.”
We were honoured to be among such inspiring finalists and extend our congratulations to all the businesses recognised on the night.
