An acre of mature gardens designed by Sir Joseph Paxton, with a large formal lawn and sweeping stone steps leading to a grand balustraded garden terrace. From the upper lawns lead a series of landscaped gravel pathways to explore. There is an unfenced pond and rockery. Please supervise children carefully at all times in the house and garden.

Perishable items: Two cakes, loaf of bread, milk and butter from local farm. Storage jars of tea bags, instant coffee granules and sugar – near kettle.
Non-perishable items, left for your convenience, typically include:
Herbs, salt and pepper, sunflower oil, chicken stock cubes (2), dishwasher tablets (3), ketchup, black bin bags (2), biodegradable compost bags (2), cling film, washing tablets (3), kitchen roll (1), 2 toilet rolls per toilet, fairy liquid. These starter pack/one off items are to make your stay convenient. They are not intended to fully equip you and may not be full or new (e.g.fairy liquid, sunflower oil).
