Things To See & Do
The Peak District National Park is one of the most visited in the world and the setting for many famous films. There is so much to do and explore in Derbyshire - we have highlighted some ideas here and you can find much more information at www.visitpeakdistrict.com and www.peakdistrict.gov.uk and via the free ‘Peak Explorer’ app.
We have lots of maps and books of walks at the house which you are welcome to borrow and you can head out from the front door down to the banks of the river Derwent, walk over the fields to the pubs at Darley Bridge (30 mins walk), or along the steam railway line.
Why not experience something different during your holiday and try a vintage bike ride or a photography course? We have teamed up with some fantastic local companies to provide exclusive offers for our guests, so please mention that you are a Darley House guest if you book any of our recommended activities.
